critique questions :
1) I think my clay food turned out pretty neat ; i like the way the texture of the pieces looked at the end of it all. I wish the bagel could've looked a little bit more realistic but overall, I'm proud of the craftsmanship of my project. 2) For me, the most difficult part of this project was getting the colors perfect, and creating the avocado slices because as i was creating them i found it hard to get the perfect shape down, since they all had to look some-what alike and also match the shape of the other un-cut half of the avocado. 3) My colors worked really well together the bright greens and yellows i used helped to contrast the bagel and egg and i like the way i was able to match the actual color of avocado with my clay version. 4) Yes, because it is a 3D sculpture with all of the sides evenly painted. 5) In a sculpture, you have to worry about the size, shape, and texture of the piece a lot more than if you were just doing a 2D artwork. You have to think about all the sides of the sculpture and think about it in a lot more architectural way. 6) I created textures by making the peel of the avocado bumpy using the clay tools, I also used glaze to make the yolk of the egg look more glossy and added texture to the top of the bagel to somewhat show all of the details normally seen in bread. 7) I tried to accomplish making this piece look like the actual avocado and egg bagel by using different textures and colors to add to this, I think I did pretty well with the size and colors looking realistic. 8) If i were to redo this project, I would probably choose a food with more bright colors and more opportunity to make texture because for me , those were the most fun and challenging parts.

My painting was inspired by Richard Hamilton
-pop artist -collages -wanted to promote the idea that art has no boundaries -total immersion of popular culture Critique : 1) I wish my painting could've turned out more neat, but i am still pretty pleased with the way it turned out at the end, i had trouble making the tiles of the bathroom neat and more realistic looking. 2) For me, the most difficult part of this project was trying to create the perspective of the bathroom because it was kind of funky, but our previous practice with it helped me out a lot in this project. It was also kind of hard to incorporate Hamilton's style in a painting because he mostly worked with collages. 3) The pastel colors i chose to use definitely reflect Hamilton's style as he usually uses pale, not so out there colors. 4) The landscape i chose is similar to the landscapes Hamilton's usually chose to work with because he focused on homes and modern day elements. 5) Hopefully he would see my art and appreciate the fact that i incorporated his idea of art not having any limitations, the fact that i made tr mirror of the bathroom a window instead is kind of random but also adds aesthetic to the piece. I also incorporated his unfinished-ness that i appreciated in his works because they add a lot of character and add to his idea of no limits. 6) If i were to redo this project i would've taken more time adding cut outs to add to the collage style of Hamilton's work and i would've found a better way to make the tiles in the bathroom look right.
