This mini project was a good practice for me in using prisma colored pencils, I enjoyed learning and descovering how to create shadows and textures using colored pencil. I learned a lot in this lesson and it was enough for success for me, I ended up using prisma color for our next project in this class and I really enjoyed it and the way it looked in the end. This mini project i did really added to my experience with water color, water colored pencil and prisma. This was the first time i ever used water colored pencils and i ended up really liking it. It will help me later on now that I have practice with Water color e.t.c. Before this, I never knew how easily water color was manipulated and the way you should actually use it, but now, i have a good idea of how to be successful with all of these materials.

These art works definitely show my growth in art, I learned how to do better shading, use of more colors and neater lines. Doing the prisma color work really helped to teach me how prisma colors work and how to manipulate the colors to add texture and perspective. I have a lot more inspiration for art works now then when i did at the beginning of the class because now i know what to look for, what areas i am best in and the techniques i have practiced throughout this year definitely shine through in my art works. In the pen and ink project, I wasn't that inspired by what i was doing which caused lack of interest - i swear the only thing i used to draw is flowers! But throughout this class i have picked up many skills that will help me later on, i actually enjoy stippling now i find it relaxing and satisfactory and i know good ways to add texture, perspective and shading .
For me, the most stressful project I did was the painting i did based off of the style of Richard Hamilton. I liked the idea of the project but when it came down to it it was harder than i thought it was going to be to pursue. I wish i had had more time to really perfect the style of the painting by adding cut outs to incorporate Hamilton's collage style. The geometrical part of my piece was hard to create because the lines were hard to control, but the practice we had with perspective a while back helped me to show the the bathroom walls and tiles realistically. I had trouble creating the shiny texture of the tiles on the wall and i wish i had had more practice in doing so.
